Larchmont is bounded by Melrose Avenue on the north, Wilton Place on the east, Wilshire Boulevard on the south and Rossmore Avenue on the west. 

Much of the district lies within a neighborhood known as Windsor Square.  Larchmont is well known for its quiet tree-lined streets, but perhaps most of all for Larchmont Boulevard, which is a breath of fresh air in modern Los Angeles.

This street is a pleasure to stroll along, stopping at one of the many restaurants and cafes or shopping in the trendy boutiques and antique stores.

Larchmont is also home to the official residence of the mayor of Los Angeles at the Getty House in Windsor Square.
